Due to the special circumstances of the 40-year anniversary of EXAPT-Verein foundation the Technical Meeting 2007 took place in Aachen, enlarged by a jubilee program the day before in connection with an in-house fair, which allowed to look at the actual performance spectrum of the EXAPT products.

At the ceremony Professor Spur, IWF of Technical University Berlin, founding member and honorary chairman of the EXAPT-Verein, and Professor Schuh, director of the WZL of RWTH Aachen, each held a brilliant lecture with thought-provoking impulses from the past and for the future, spiced with humorous comments.
